Essex Way anniversary walkers set out from Epping on Saturday

The Essex Way 50th-anniversary celebrations continue with a walking relay this weekend.
By happy coincidence, 2022 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Long Distance Walkers Association and it has organised the five-leg relay, which starts with a group setting out from Epping station at 6am on Saturday (July 2).
They will be carrying a banner, which will be passed on to the group walking the next leg before the relay arrives at Harwich lighthouse between 2.30pm and 3pm on Sunday.
