Gordon snaps a quirky moment… now it’s YOUR chance to whip out the camera and join our competition

We offer you Gordon Ridgewell’s latest quirky observation on life…
“I have heard about the cat amongst the pigeons, but when I looked out the window I saw our cat amongst the partridges!

“He is guarding the drive as the partridges find small seeds to eat in strange places.”

As most of you will be aware, Gordon has shared many of his photographs with CPRE Essex over the years… and we are keen for more of you to do likewise, particularly through our Essex Way competition.

This is being held to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the beautiful, 81-mile walk – and EVERYONE is invited to join.
You can take shots of landscapes, buildings, people… whatever takes your fancy as long as your images are taken on the Essex Way.
The competition will have three age groups:

  • 11 and younger
  • 12-17
  • 18+

There will be prizes of £15, £25 and £50 in each group, with the best shots being posted at the CPRE Essex AGM.
