Lower Thames Crossing: here’s your chance to take part in the planning process

CPRE Essex has opposed plans for the massively destructively Lower Thames Crossing since they were first proposed in their current form.
Sadly, the National Highways application for a Development Consent Order was accepted by the Planning Inspectorate in November, so we are now at the stage where we are asking everyone with a view to take part in the forthcoming consultation.
To do this, you will need to register as an Interested Party – click here to learn more and be involved with the planning process. There is also a video fly-through showing how the road would look if built; with even its backers now admitting it is more about encouraging development in the Thames estuary than cutting congestion, needless to say, we hope it isn’t!
- If you wish to register as an Interested Party, you must do so by the deadline of 23.59 on Friday, February 24
