The fourth and final talk of our CPRE Essex winter series will be given by Christy Willett on Wednesday (March 2).
It begins at 6.30pm via Zoom and will be entitled Challenges of Farming: Past, Present and Future.
Ms Willett is an AHDB farmer from Galleywood, Chelmsford, where she farms 475 hectares of owned and rented arable land with her son Hew.
For those who don’t know, the AHDB is the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board – a statutory levy board that is “funded by farmers, growers and others in the supply chain to help the industry succeed in a rapidly changing world”.
And monitor farms “bring together groups of like-minded farmers who wish to improve their businesses by sharing performance information and best practice around a nationwide network of host farms”.

  • If you would like to join this talk, please email office@cpre-essex.org.uk and we will send you Zoom log-on details
