The wait is almost over… our AGM is this weekend!

After the event, you can enjoy a tour of Mountnessing windmill

We’re almost there! Yes, we’re just days away from this year’s CPRE Essex annual general meeting being held in the beautiful village of Mountnessing.

We’re meeting at 2pm for a 2.30pm start on Saturday, October 3.

As ever, this year’s AGM promises a special day out for members and supporters alike. Aside from the event itself, the village has a stunning history dating back to the Domesday Book, while it is probably best known for its post mill.

We have a brilliant guest speaker in Christine Knight, a qualified garden designer who will be giving us an insight into what it was like to represent Essex at the award-winning CPRE Chelsea Flower Show garden.

And as if all that were not enough, we have arranged a tour of the mill at 4pm after the meeting!

  • We will be meeting for the AGM, in Mountnessing village hall, Roman Road, Mountnessing CM15 0UG, at 2pm for a 2.30pm start. You can reach the venue by bus, train or car. If you would like to attend, please reply directly to office@cpre-essex.org.uk
