This year’s AGM is being held in Mountnessing on Saturday, October 3

This year’s CPRE Essex annual general meeting is being held on Saturday, October 3, in the beautiful village of Mountnessing.

We always like to make our AGMs a special day out for members and supporters by choosing venues either in or close to places that are worthy of a visit in their own right… and we’re certain Mountnessing will not disappoint.

The village has a tremendously rich history dating back to the Domesday Book, while it is perhaps best known for its fully restored post mill. Indeed, we love the mill so much that we gathered there in April as CPRE Essex got behind the Day of Action for the countryside.

We have a tremendous guest speaker in Christine Knight. Christine is a qualified garden designer who will be giving us an insight into what it was like to represent Essex at the award-winning CPRE Chelsea Flower Show garden.

And as if that were not enough, we have arranged a tour of the mill at 4pm after the meeting. We thoroughly recommend this – it really is worth a visit.
