Epping Forest unveils its spring glory

We are indebted to Adrienne de Mont for today’s Our Lovely Essex collection. Over to Adrienne…

My husband and I are fortunate to live on the edge of Epping Forest so can walk off the beaten track without seeing many people. It’s been absolutely glorious the past month or so, as spring unfolds. Bare trees in March are now in full luxurious leaf.
The first picture is of Loughton Brook as it runs from Baldwin’s Hill Pond down to Staples Road.
The other two were were taken when we went off-piste and got a bit lost somewhere behind Earl’s Path because we’d had to make a detour round fallen trees! What a wonderful place to get our official exercise.

  • No one is going to argue with that! If you would like to follow Adrienne’s example and spread some cheer across Essex, please send your images, stories or experiences to dmairs@cpre-essex.org.uk
